Our testing goes beyond required standards to account for the presence of Isomaltose, an additional sugar molecule that standard testing (and many other companies), overlook.

We will always be high in non-gmo plant based fibers. We have carefully selected two fibers that check all the boxes! They are approved as full fibers, provide pre-biotic goodness, replace sugars, help you feel full for longer and contribute to your daily fiber intake. We are excited that this combination of new and different fibers charts a new course in our mission to pioneer radically better choice to traditional candy! After all, fiber is not something you find in traditional candy at all (gotta love paving a new path!)

We are proudly 79-92% less sugar than traditional candy. Our pinky promise to you will always be that SmartSweets are free of added sugars, sugar alcohols and artificial sweeteners!

While we don’t innovate for any particular diet (our mission is to #KickSugar!) we know that for some of our friends “Net Carbs” are important. We keep carbs as low as possible while remaining steadfast in our commitment to keep our candy free of sugar alcohols. It’s a pinky promise to you for a reason- (sugar alcohols are often used to reduce carbs, but it’s a trade off our bodies won’t thank us for). The net carb count in Smart Sweets is significantly lower than the total carb count on the label. To calculate net carbs, subtract fiber from total carbs.

Portion size is often used artfully in the food industry so that the labels are as appealing as possible. Ever noticed that the packages get suspiciously smaller over time? Or that a serving is a teeny portion of what is inside so the label “looks” good? Well, enough already to those sneaky moves. Not happening here. We promise no games, no guilt and no mental math. What matters to you, matters to us and that means the portion size is the packet - period.
